Role Summary

We are searching for a Senior Value Consultant who will liaise with product marketing, sales executives, customer success managers and business stakeholders to develop key value metrics and produce templates, reports and information on the benefits of our solutions. In this role, you will also work closely with customers to help them measure their outcomes and value from our solutions and services. The customer facing component will be a hybrid model, leading deep-dive customer engagements for key accounts while also training and co-delivering value realization motions in partnership with our Customer Success Teams.

To ensure success as a value consultant, you should have in-depth analysis, storytelling and presentation skills along with the ability to think dynamically about outcomes, products, and solutions. A top-notch value consultant should be proactive in their approach to sales and customer success, possessing excellent client relationship management skills.

This position is open to remote work options in the following time zones: EST, CST, MST and PST

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying key values in existing and developing solutions
  • Analyzing data, research materials, and product reports
  • Producing excellent research and reports on product values and applications
  • Consulting with other stakeholders to ensure templates align with client expectations
  • Managing relationships proactively and developing excellent rapport
  • Conveying key messages about company solutions to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Using feedback, experience and data to continuously improve best practices and templates
  • Assisting sales and success teams to understand and communicate key metrics to clients
  • Guiding other team members as they conduct research, present findings, and interact with key accounts
  • Creating tools and templates for other stakeholders to utilize in identifying customer value

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, finance, legal or business
  • Experience working in a customer facing role
  • Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Experience with financial models, executive level conversations, and/or sales experience with value methodologies
  • Mentoring and leadership skills
  • Ability to conduct independent research and analysis
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills with an ability to distill complex technical information simply and persuasively for a variety of audiences
  • Highly motivated, focused, and self-directed with a dedication to excellence
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of time depending on projects and project requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in sales or value consultant roles for a technology company
  • Strong understanding of customer outcomes and approach
  • Strong desire to collaborate and build consensus across geographically diverse teams
  • Experience with change management methodologies a plus
