IT/IQ Tech Recruiters is seeking a SENIOR UX DESIGNER to join our client in CALGARY, AB (REMOTE - AB, BC, SK, MB, ON)

Responsibilities

• As a Senior UX Designer, your role is to advocate for users' needs and help deliver experiences that reflect those needs.
• Your addition to the team will extend our capabilities, build internal capacity, and push the status quo for creating websites and products that are compelling, appealing, and easy to use.
• Lead the user experience work for multiple clients, and advocate for those clients' users every step of the way.
• Create organizing principles, user flows and site maps.
• Sketch, wireframe, design and prototype user experience solutions.
• Test your work to improve results for our clients consistently.
• Lead clients and customers in rapid design labs and workshops.

Top Skills Required

• Deep understanding of the iterative user experience design process. Knowing how to think ahead to how pages and components will function across different devices and for different audiences.
• Proficient in software like Figma, Adobe CC, Sketch and InVision for designing and prototyping. Also understand and have experience with agile work processes.
• Strong background in working in a collaborative environment. Solving design problems and understand how your work fits with other disciplines, including writing, visual design, technologists, research, and data. You also understand how to use the UX design process to create alignment with the team and consensus with stakeholders.
• Experience communicating effectively with developers. Some knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of technology solutions.
• Flexible approach capabilities. Someone who knows when to hold their ground and when to adapt thier approach or recommendations based on feedback. Ability to win the hearts and minds of clients by helping them ask the right questions, probing when necessary, and developing tailored strategies.
