The Opportunity:

Thrive in a fast-paced environment where you tackle complex challenges seamlessly with brokers and insurance partners Assess and underwrite personal lines risks in accordance with company guidelines and appetite Provide timely and competitive quotes for new business opportunities. Evaluate and manage renewals to ensure retention and profitability Build and maintain strong broker relationships to promote company products and foster business growth Collaborate with team members to meet or exceed production and profitability goals Ensure all underwriting practices adhere to regulatory and company standards Stay updated on market trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for growth Represent the company at industry events, networking opportunities, and trade shows Orchestrate multiple tasks, participating in the process of designing new guidelines and policies

Here's what you bring:

Use an analytical, driven, and pragmatic approach to underwriting a wide variety of risk types Demonstrate leadership by guiding other underwriters through their own decision making Independent and self-motivated, you have a broad understanding of underwriting and pricing discipline You have a minimum 5 years' experience in underwriting
