As part of the Corporate Controller team, the Senior Treasury Analyst will have the unique opportunity to be the main person responsible for managing our group of company\'s global cash positions and cash processes. This role is responsible for monitoring the company\'s liquidity, paying close attention to credit, weekly cash flows across all the entities, as well as optimizing liquidity by repatriating excess cash across non-Canadian entities. This role will also be responsible for managing cash for our management services side of the business. In this role, you will work closely with internal stakeholders such as General Accounting, Financial Reporting, Foundation Accounting, Operations, Legal, and Tax. You will have exposure to executive and board level discussions.

What you will do:

• Oversee daily cash management activities for our group of global companies and certain foundation partners, including monitoring daily cash position, cash forecasting, balance reporting and payment processing, including communication with regional business groups on daily cash needs
• Support global cash management by monitoring weekly cash flow and the monthly cash flow forecast
• Administer banking relationships and set up of new accounts, users, signors and changes
• Manage internal and external financings, including external credit facility borrowings/repayments and interest payments
• Produce reports on cash, debt and liquidity on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis, and provide recommendations for cash usage
• Coordinate cash movements with internal teams
• Manage cash investments, when applicable
• Responsible for the cash component of our monthly income & cash guidance that is distributed to our senior leadership team
• Responsible for maintaining intercompany loan schedules
• Quarter end duties as they relate to treasury operations, such as quarter end intercompany loan tracking and settlement of intercompany balances, capital markets dashboards, and various internal reporting requirements
• Monitor compliance requirements for credit facilities
• Responsible for completion of treasury related items as part of our annual business planning process
• Ongoing communication with internal stakeholders such as regional business groups, Tax, Accounts Payable, Operations and Finance to support the business as well as significant transactions
• Manage relationships with external banking partners including providing monthly reporting packages
• Document, review and improve efficiencies of treasury processes and procedures
• Support on ad hoc projects as required

What you bring:

• A business degree in accounting, finance or related field
• 3-5 years professional work experience in a corporate treasury or corporate finance role
• Experience in managing multiple currencies
• Knowledge and experience using ERP systems
• Advanced Microsoft Office Excel knowledge
• Experience in building relationships with banks

Nice To Haves:

• CPA, CFA or CTP designation would be an asset
• Experience in a multi-company, multi-national environment is an asset
