The Government Client is seeking a Senior Technology Architect with deep expertise in cybersecurity architecture, network security, and automation-ideally with experience supporting Ontario K-12 school boards. This role focuses on securing next-generation environments through innovative design, implementation, and strategic oversight.
Job Title: Senior Technology Architect
Job Location: Toronto, ON/Hybrid
Must Haves:
10+ years in cybersecurity architecture, threat management, and next-gen network security.
5+ years in network security within SDN environments, preferably in Ontario's K-12 sector.
Proven experience with:
Cloud security (SSE/SASE, ZTNA, CASB, FWaaS)
Zero Trust and cloud-native security (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
Security frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF v2, CIS v8)
AI/ML-driven security automation, SOAR, and AIOps
Endpoint security (EPP, EDR, XDR), NAC, DDoS, and IR/IM
Hybrid SecOps, MSSP oversight, SIEM, and CART tools
