Join one of Canada's leading real estate investment and management firms.
As the
Senior Technical Services Coordinator
, you'll play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence across our national Technical Services division. You'll help align processes, technology, and best practices -- ensuring our properties operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulatory and environmental standards.
This role is ideal for a detail-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys coordinating complex programs, and wants to make an impact across a national portfolio.
What You Will Do:
Provide high-level administrative and operational support to the National Vice President and Technical Services team.
Coordinate the
National Building Compliance & Best Practices
programs -- ensuring adherence to laws, regulations, and BGO policies related to building safety, environmental standards, and operational performance.
Manage the
Vendor Accreditation Program
, maintaining up-to-date compliance with WSIB/CNESST/WCB, insurance, and health & safety documentation.
Collaborate with the HSE team on
Environmental Risk Management
, supporting compliance tracking, documentation, and administration through the BGO's platform.
Support
FOREVERREADY
, BGO's Emergency Management Program -- coordinating Emergency Response Plan (ERP) and the Emergency Management Plan (EMP) rollouts, training, and national incident reporting.
Manage and report on
KPI performance
through the work orders and preventive maintenance system.
Support
Fire Life Safety
initiatives, including record-keeping, fire drills, tabletop exercises, and training documentation.
Coordinate
training and certification programs
for building operations teams (e.g., Work at Heights, LOTO, Confined Space, First Aid, Arc Flash, etc.), ensuring compliance and tracking participation.
Lead logistics and communication for the
bi-annual Operations Conference
(venue, agenda, speakers, promotion).
Serve as the subject matter expert for
Yardi Construction Manager (Evolve)
, managing capital project bids and approvals.
Provide general administrative and coordination support to ensure smooth national Technical Services operations.
Who You Are:
3-5 years
of relevant experience in a customer service or technical support capacity; experience in
real estate operations
is a strong asset.
Post-secondary education
or
BOMI certification
preferred.
Strong
organizational, analytical, and multi-tasking
skills -- able to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
Exceptional
communication and interpersonal
skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
Advanced
computer proficiency
in MS Office and data analysis; experience with Yardi or similar platforms is an asset.
A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a drive for
continuous improvement
and operational excellence.
Police Clearance -
A criminal verification check is required for employment.
