Project Victoria is a yet unannounced AAA action-adventure game developed by our North American team supported by PCF\xe2\x80\x99s European studios.
Work with the Art Director to define and implement a broad strategic character rigging and animation vision for a new project and IP
Maintain the production and software pipeline and meeting deadlines
Creating high quality characters, creatures and props rigging and skinning suitable technically to project universe
Implementing characters in Unreal Engine 5 including cloth, physics and blueprint setups
Work closely with modelers and animators to ensure a smooth development pipeline that delivers high quality assets
Working on pipeline tools and working with engine and project leads on continuous improvement of those engine tools
Ability to provide clean assets or code within established systems and requirements
Sharing knowledge with less experienced peers
Describing R&D case studies in knowledge base
Occasionally support Lead in recruitment projects with HR collaboration
Occasionally can onboard new hires
Qualifications
Minimum 8 years of experience in technical animation, tools and pipeline development
Experienced building at least 2 AAA titles
Extensive knowledge and experience with animation graphs
Extensive experience working within Unreal Engine Character Rigging Blueprints
Great experience with Maya, specializing in rigging/skinning
Solid ability to create tools and write scripts to help improve the animation pipeline
Comprehensive understanding of anatomy and character movement
Character skinning with close attention to physical deformation
Physics simulation on cloth, hair and other physics items
Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly provide technical feedback into the tasks, rigs, toolsets and documentation
Knowledge of current technology and trends in video games
Programming skills, ability to write Python code.
Familiarity with Unreal character related features.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Open-minded team player attitude

Passionate about playing and making video games
