Our client is a fast-growing and forward-thinking public practice accounting firm known for its commitment to collaboration and innovation.They are looking for a Senior Tax Accountant with strong attention to detail and a solid foundation in accounting principles. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills and a commitment to accuracy. This role involves filing corporate, personal, partnership and trust tax returnsPursuing CPA or Finished CPA education is required for this role!Advantages

Responsibilities
Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, corporations, trusts and partnerships
  • Support with tax compliance and tax planning
  • Assist with tax planning and provide recommendations to optimize tax positions.
  • Research and analyze tax issues, ensuring compliance with federal and provincial regulations using the Income Tax Act.
  • Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of relevant Canadian Tax Experience
  • Completed or pursuing CPA designation
