REF #001 ADGA is currently looking for a full time Senior Systems Analyst to join our team and provide support to a large, multi-year Defence program that we have been supporting for 20+ years! Tasks include:
  • Develop requirements, feasibility, cost, design and high level architecture documents.
  • Analyze current systems and/or SoS (System of Systems) to make recommendations for design improvements and/or close documentation and process gaps.
  • Analyze complex technical systems and/or SoS, requirements and/or plans to develop costing estimates, support needs, infrastructure requirements and other derived planning documentation to support business needs.
  • Engage with stakeholders to define and obtain user feedback, to identify system and/or SoS problem areas, and to confirm and document stakeholder requirements.
  • Develop material by analyzing situations, requirements, processes and other information. Also write explanatory documentation.
  • Conduct reviews of systems, and/or SoS and processes to produce reports on possible efficiencies, improvements and/or options for solutions.
  • Propose and implement solutions to support LC4ISR (Land Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance) and/or SoS evolution.
  • Structure and prioritize both business and technical requirements and communicate plans with stakeholders for review and approval.
  • Assist with producing, reviewing and updating project related documents in the domain of project management and IT procurement.
  • Perform other duties as required.


Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience as a Software Analyst, Systems Analyst, Systems Engineer or Costing Analyst on Military C4 or ISR Software Systems.
  • A valid Secret level 2 government security clearance and must be eligible to apply for the Controlled Goods Assessment. (required)
  • Proof of an undergraduate level University degree in any discipline or College diploma in software, computers, systems or other suitable engineering or technical field required to support Land C4ISR.
  • At least 6 years experience within the last 10 years, conducting stakeholder engagement in support of system analysis work.
  • At least 6 years experience within the last 10 years, performing at least 2 of the following assessment criteria:
    • requirements analysis
    • cost analysis
    • specification development
    • quality engineering

  • Work will be hybrid (remote and on-site as required)
  • This role is part of a multi-year program that we are supporting with DND.
  • Background: Land Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (LC4ISR) System-of-Systems enables the effective command and control and situational awareness for Canadian Army commanders and staff
