Position Title :: Senior Systems Testing/QA Specialist
Work Location :: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
Position Type :: Contract
Duration :: 9+ MonthGeneral Skills:

• Experience in planning, organizing, and implementing testing efforts.

• Knowledge of structured methodologies for application development, design, implementation, and maintenance.
• Familiarity with Computer Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools and data query tools for test case development.
• Proficiency in using automated test tools and version control systems across platforms.
• Execution of functional tests, non-functional tests, and systems-level integration tests.
• Support for user acceptance testing (UAT) and participation in UAT activities.
• Understanding of quality assurance principles, practices, and structured methodologies.
• Creation of testing strategy documentation, test plans, test cases, and test data.
• Experience across all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work well within a team and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with one or more automated testing tools.

• Knowledge and experience in at least one programming language.

• Use of information retrieval packages.
• Understanding of testing methods in an object-oriented environment.
• Familiarity with Information Management principles.
• Awareness of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations.
• Experience in planning and organizing testing efforts for both large and small systems.
• Proficiency in coding automated test scripts.
• Testing of Commercial Off-the-Shelf Applications (COTS).

• Execution of functional tests, non-functional tests, and systems-level integration test
