About Us:

At My Aide In Life, we believe in helping Calgary's seniors maintain their independence with dignity and care. We are a small, relationship-focused company dedicated to supporting elders through practical assistance and genuine companionship.

The Role:

We are seeking compassionate, proactive, and mature individuals to join our team. Your role will involve helping seniors with tasks that make daily life easier and safer, such as:
- Tidying up and light yard-work
- Minor handyman tasks
- Administrative support & companionship
- Meal preparation & things to complete around a home
- Driving clients to appointments

Note:

This position does not typically involve medical assistance or personal care.

What We're Looking For:

- Previous experience in healthcare, hospitality, or care-giving is an asset
- Reliable vehicle ownership and valid driver's license & clean abstract or willing to provide one upon being hired
- Ability to work independently and travel between clients across Calgary
- Willingness to take courses to enhance your skills
- Must provide a Police & Vulnerability Check
- Enjoy working with people (and animals!)

Ideal Candidate:

- Interested in the well-being of Calgary's elders
- Considering a career change and looking for growth opportunities
- Comfortable working with 1 client per day (approx. 3 hours) or 2 clients (up to 6 hours)
- Flexible, patient, dedicated & committed, empathetic and understanding

You must live in Calgary and no LIMA's are available.

Hours: 8am-7pm, Monday to Friday (flexible to the occasional weekend)
Commitment: Minimum 9-15 hours per week with room for growth.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 9 per week
