We are seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer who is ready to grow and develop while contributing to our US and Canadian team s success. In this position, you will be exposed to the broadest cross-section of wind and storage projects of any renewables company in the world, supporting a wide breath projects by providing civil, owners and independent engineering consulting services for the renewable industry. • Review of foundation design drawings and calculations for wind, storage, infrastructure, other energy structural support systems, to support project financing
• Multi-disciplinary collaboration for Independent Engineering, Owner s Engineering, and Merger & Acquisition services
• Evaluation of pre-market design concepts for wind energy foundations
• Construction monitoring site visits, construction QA/QC documentation review
• Similar tasks, to a lesser involvement, for solar structural support systems
• Proposal preparation for wind, storage, infrastructure, other energy structural support systems services.
• Project management of small to large projects
• Work with a geographically diverse team, within North America and internationally
• Prioritize QHSSE considerations within the team to ensure safe execution and healthy work environment

About you

What is Required

• Master of Science Structural Engineering
• P.E. or P.Eng. license
• At least 7 years of structural engineering design, analysis and construction with at least 3 years of experience in the renewable energy industry
• Proficiency in IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, ACI, NBCC, EuroCode and other common structural design codes
• Proficiency in Abaqus, SAFE, SAP and other common structural analysis programs
• Proficiency in Python, Mathcad, and/or MATLAB coding for structural engineering applications
• Detailed understanding or familiarity of fatigue in reinforced concrete subject to high cycle demand (DNV-ST-C502, Eurocode, CEB FIP MC 2010)
• Understanding of foundation systems for utility scale onshore wind turbines
• Understanding of typical construction methods for wind energy
• Willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time, both domestic and international
• Willing and able to use common construction personal protective equipment, walk over uneven terrain, and climb ladders during site visits
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills

What is Preferred
