We are seeking a knowledgeable Stress Engineer with damage tolerance analysis and repair engineering experience. This role offers the opportunity for career growth in engineering as well as possibilities for leadership.
In today's climate, the safety of passengers on our aircraft is paramount and at Capgemini you will have the opportunity to work on providing your technical expertise on large commercial aircraft.
Key responsibilities

Apply your own specific knowledge of aircraft stress areas for metallic repairs on aircraft structures.
Perform damage tolerance analyses for specific repairs in support of the fleet.
Prepare and review stress analysis reports.
Interact with a multidisciplinary team in the development of structural repair solutions.
Provide updates to the aircraft manuals such as Aircraft Structural Repair Publication and Aircraft Maintenance Publication.
Required Skills
Hold a bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering with a relevant experience of minimum of eight (8) years in stress analysis in the aerospace industry including a minimum of three (3) years performing damage tolerance analyses on aircraft primary structures.
You have a minimum of three (3) years of repair experience in aircraft/airframe.
You have a good understanding of applicable airworthiness regulations (experience with Transport Canada is an asset).
You are a dynamic person with initiative, a strong sense of responsibility and good judgment.
You have good knowledge in aircraft metallic structure stress analysis (practical experience on commercial aircraft structures is an asset).
You are comfortable in interrogating aircraft structure repair drawings (Catia V5 is an asset).
You master MS Office software. (Visual Basic coding experience is an asset).
Expertise in NASGRO (required). (Golihat experience is an asset).
You have strong, written and spoken, communication skills in English (French is an asset)

Nous recherchons un(e) ingenieur(e) specialise(e) dans les contraintes, ayant une experience de l'analyse de la tolerance aux dommages et de l'ingenierie des reparations. Ce poste offre la possibilite d'une evolution de carriere dans le domaine de l'ingenierie ainsi que des possibilites de leadership.
Dans le contexte actuel, la securite des passagers de nos avions est primordiale et chez Capgemini vous aurez l'opportunite de travailler en apportant votre expertise technique sur des avions commerciaux de grande taille.
Principales responsabilites :
Appliquer ses propres connaissances specifiques des zones de contrainte des aeronefs pour les reparations metalliques sur les structures des aeronefs.
Effectuer des analyses de tolerance aux dommages pour des reparations specifiques a l'appui de la flotte.
Preparer et examiner les rapports d'analyse des contraintes.
Interagir avec une equipe pluridisciplinaire dans le cadre de l'elaboration de solutions de reparation structurelle.
Fournir des mises a jour des manuels aeronautiques tels que la publication sur les reparations structurelles des aeronefs et la publication sur l'entretien des aeronefs.
Competences requises
Vous etes titulaire d'une licence en ingenierie mecanique ou aerospatiale avec une experience pertinente d'au moins huit (8) ans dans l'analyse des contraintes dans l'industrie aerospatiale, dont au moins trois (3) ans dans la realisation d'analyses de tolerance aux dommages sur des structures primaires d'aeronefs.
Vous avez au moins trois (3) ans d'experience en reparation d'aeronefs/de cellules d'aeronefs.
Vous avez une bonne comprehension de la reglementation applicable en matiere de navigabilite (une experience avec Transports Canada est un atout).
Vous etes une personne dynamique qui fait preuve d'initiative, d'un sens aigu des responsabilites et d'un bon jugement.
Vous avez une bonne connaissance de l'analyse des contraintes des structures metalliques des aeronefs (une experience pratique des structures d'aeronefs commerciaux est un atout).
Vous etes a l'aise dans l'interrogation des plans de reparation des structures aeronautiques (Catia V5 est un atout).
Vous maitrisez les logiciels MS Office. (Une experience du codage en Visual Basic est un atout).
Expertise en NASGRO (obligatoire). (L'experience de Golihat est un atout).
Vous avez de solides competences en matiere de communication ecrite et orale en anglais (le francais est un atout).
