Position: Senior Specialized IT Consultant
Duration: 1-year assignment (contract)
Client Location: Toronto (Hybrid: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)
Engagement Model: Professional Services Engagement - B2B (Incorporated Entities Only)

This position is provisionally Up to 3 days onsite, requiring 7.25 hours per calendar day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (excluding breaks). Conditions may change based on organizational requirements and at the discretion of the Hiring Manager.
About the Engagement
Akkodis is seeking a highly experienced Senior Specialized IT Consultant to provide expert-level technical consulting and support activities for a public sector client. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with IBM technologies, data integration processes, and Java development, ensuring robust solutions for complex IT environments.
Scope
Contribute towards IT Consultant activities for the delivery and product management life cycle, including:
Ensure alignment between the Provincial Client Registry (PCR) and client identifiers associated with immunization data submitted by the ministry.
Support foundational data alignment activities critical to the Immunization Repository project.
Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement solutions that maintain data integrity and interoperability.
Monitor and validate data integration processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with health information standards.
Assignment Deliverables
The resource will ensure full knowledge transfer is provided to the Ontario Health team before end of engagement. Some of this might occur at the end of the engagement but will also be shared as information is obtained/consolidated. Key deliverables will be shared with team.
The resource must provide all related documentation as part of knowledge transfer protocol. Documents will be reviewed by the appropriate leads and signed off by manager/director.
The resource will work collaboratively with the Ontario Health team throughout the assignment and ensure key deliverables, milestones, and documentation are shared.
Expertise Required
Must Have:
5+ years' Experience with IBM InfoSphere Master Data Management Identity Hub Standard Edition (formerly Initiate)
5+ years' Experience of IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS)
5+ years' Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to support data from multiple sources into a single target system
5+ years' Experience Java development experience
Nice to Have:
Practical experience with HL7 messaging, Cloverleaf integration suite and IBM InfoSphere DataStage.
