Our client is seeking a Senior Specialized IT Consultant
Key Deliverables for Senior Specialized IT Consultant:
Product Requirements: Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather integration requirements. Define API specifications, security protocols (OAuth2, JWT, SAML), and data transformation rules for JSON, XML, and CSV formats.
Product Delivery: Develop and maintain REST APIs, microservices, and messaging solutions using Spring Boot, Spring Integration, and Azure Service Bus. Implement asynchronous communication, multi-threading, and event-driven workflows. Ensure robust testing through automated unit and API tests, and manage deployments via CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or Kubernetes.
Prioritization: Evaluate integration patterns, recommend best practices, and optimize system performance for high availability and scalability. Identify risks early and propose mitigation strategies while balancing multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams in Agile settings, participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and architectural reviews. Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and mentor junior developers.
Must haves:
REST APIs - Extensive experience with REST API design, development, documentation, and testing.
Java + Spring Boot - Strong expertise in Java and the Spring Boot ecosystem.
Integration Patterns - Strong knowledge of integration patterns and best practices; hands-on experience with Spring Integration.
Messaging / Middleware - Experience with Azure Service Bus or similar message-oriented middleware/enterprise service bus.
Event-Driven Architecture - Practical experience designing and implementing event-driven systems.
Microservices - In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience building scalable, highly available microservice-based systems.
Security Standards - Extensive experience with OAuth, OpenID, and SAML 2.0, including implementing authentication, authorization, and encryption.
