Who you are

You are a dynamic, creative communications professional with experience working in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment. You can manage multiple projects and campaigns to engage, inform and inspire internal audiences working with a variety of stakeholders to achieve business goals.

What you bring

3+ years\xe2\x80\x99 of marketing and/or communications experience

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or Diploma in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, HR or Project Management

Strong writing & editing skills, including experience with Canadian Press style

Well-versed in using different communications social media etc. and the platforms associated including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint, Hootsuite and Meltwater

Strong organizational and project management skills

Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build relationships across the organization

Bonus skills and experience

Bilingual (English & French)

Experience working across large, matrix organizations

Commercial Real Estate experience

What success looks like

Help create and deliver communications strategies to support the business, including but not limited to crafting executive and leadership communications, promoting programs and initiatives on internal and external channels, developing programs to align with the company\'s business objectives and values.

Work with communications function across the Canadian and Global business to develop communications plans, whilst ensuring best practice sharing and support / regionalization of global communications initiatives.

Support and champion Colliers Canada\xe2\x80\x99s internal channel strategy to increase employee engagement, ensuring recommendations are rooted in insight and analytics.

Plan, edit, and write content for a variety of communications channels, including but not limited to, Colliers\xe2\x80\x99 Intranet, email communications, executive slide decks, social media channels, media pitches etc.

Create, maintain, share and have full ownership of the internal communications calendar.

Establish feedback mechanisms to gauge the effectiveness of communication strategies.

Build relationships with communications leaders across the Canadian and Global business, leveraging best practices and collaborating on new programs.

Provide monthly reporting on key communications metrics and KPIs, while aligning with organizational goals and metrics.

Work with external PR vendor to assist with pitching and monitoring media coverage.

Support with issues management and development of crisis communications strategies, including social listening, drafting written statements, and ensuring information is communicated quickly and effectively.

Approximate Salary Range for Role: $66,203 to $75,000.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all Canada locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
