Minimum qualifications:



Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages. 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and developer. 2 years of experience in developing tools. 1 year of experience with Agentic AI.

Preferred qualifications:



Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field. 5 years of experience with data structures/algorithms. 3 years of experience working in a matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects. 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.

As a Senior Software Developer, you will support critical work in the fast-moving, highly-engaged space of AI-enhanced developer workflows. We are positioned to benefit developers building apps by delivering AI-empowered pro-code functionality, rapid prototyping, and comprehensive support for a wide range of languages and frameworks.


In this role, you will build Agentic AI tools to improve the experience for developers, bringing ideas from conception to production readiness quickly and with the highest quality.


The US base salary range for this full-time position is $166,000-$244,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

Write and test full-stack code that makes it easier and faster for full stack software developers to build agentive applications without requiring specialized AI skills. Iterate new ways to apply our GenAI technology and expertise in order to make developers more productive. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders including product management, design and other teams within Google, ensure we build a customer-centric solution. Advise other team members across the organization on ML topics. Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
