Position: Senior Software Developer
Duration: 6 Months assignment (contract)
Client Location: Toronto (Onsite/Hybrid: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)
Engagement Model: Professional Services Engagement - B2B (Incorporated Entities Only)

This position is provisionally Onsite/Hybrid, requiring 7.25 hours per calendar day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (excluding breaks). Conditions may change based on organizational requirements and at the discretion of the Hiring Manager.
About the Engagement
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to support the StagePath team. StagePath enables province-wide collection of high-quality cancer pathology and staging data from hospitals and laboratories through standardized reporting for the Ontario Cancer Registry (OCR). This role is critical to achieving milestones for the OCR enhancement project, aimed at improving cancer data integration and outcomes across Canada over the next 5-10 years.
Scope
The Senior Software Developer will:
Translate technical system specifications into tested, working applications.
Develop detailed programming specifications and write/generate code.
Design and create SQL databases.
Compile data-driven programs, maintain, and conduct unit tests.
Assignment Deliverables
OCR ePath Stage Improvements: Design and build a solution to parse Azure Machine Learning output into a database and transfer data to the application database based on specific logic.
Stage v26 Annual Release: Install and configure third-party applications and manage related databases.
Expertise Required
Must Have:
7+ years experience Microsoft Visual Studio (.NET)
7+ years experience SQL Server (database creation and management)
Nice to Have:
Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines, repos, work item management)
Azure Cloud
Security Clearance
Required.
