Our team is providing a global service to ensure the right people have the right access to the right information and data at Manulife. We are using the SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) platform for access controls and are expanding capabilities and coverage including Access Insights and File Access Manager for unstructured data. The Senior Security Engineer is responsible for the ongoing support and service maturity of the IAM program and must have experience developing and maintaining code using JavaScript with preference given for experience with SailPoint's IIQ capabilities in:
Lifecycle Manager
Compliance Manager
Application On-Boarding
Access Request
Automated Provisioning
Custom Workflows
Quicklinks and custom forms
What you will do:
Develop and maintain code using Java, JavaScript and Beanshell JavaScript programming with a solid understanding of Rest and SOAP API's
Provide development support for SailPoint products
Work with Segment partners while developing solutions to meet business needs
Performs security analysis with business and technology partners to ensure technology solutions and workflows are compliant with internal requirements and regulatory guidelines
Maintain solution documentation for ongoing maintenance and support of service
Troubleshoot and remediate advanced application issues
Participate in and/or lead user acceptance testing and bug-related engineering efforts.
Analyze impact of IT environment changes and upgrades for SailPoint code
Participate in the development, execution, and documentation of test plans
Collaborates in the development of processes and procedures when implementing changes
Analyzes system requirements, including identifying program interactions and appropriate interfaces between impacted components and sub systems
Makes recommendations towards the development of new code or to reuse of existing code
May lead assigned projects, including assigning tasks, coordinating efforts, and monitoring performance
May recommend new technologies and methodologies to management for meeting business needs, resolving problems and exploiting opportunities. Remains current with new technologies
Writes and/or reviews system specifications, including output requirements and flow charts.
Ensures proper analysis of problems and programming approaches to prevent rework and schedule slippage
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Must Have:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Computer Science, MIS or related degree and a minimum of five (5) years of relevant development or engineering experience or combination of education, training and experience
At least 5 years' experience programming with Java, JavaScript, PowerShell, SQL, REST APIs
Good understanding of authentication protocols such as LDAP and SAML
Strong database experience required, preferably with prior access control experience in SQL and Oracle
Familiarity with networking concepts
Attention to detail and effective planning and organizational skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication
Nice to Have:
SailPoint and CyberArk experience (highly preferred but not an absolute must)
Development experience in SailPoint IdentityIQ (highly preferred but not an absolute must)
Knowledge of Active Directory Organizational Units, groups and user attributes
Solid understanding of Azure
Technical knowledge of wide range of systems, platforms
Understanding building and managing infrastructure systems
Security and or SailPoint certifications
Good working knowledge of ITIL practices and processes
