This is an in-office position: Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM.
Responsibilities
Develop & Manage a Portfolio:
Build and expand your book of business through proactive B2B outreach and relationship management.
Identify & Capture Opportunities:
Source new business, negotiate contracts, and drive revenue with customized freight solutions.
Engage with Clients:
Act as a trusted advisor, providing strategic solutions to client logistics challenges.
Drive Growth:
Consistently grow your client base, increase profitability, and deliver high-value service.
Business Prospecting:
Connect with decision-makers across industries to generate new opportunities.
Rate Negotiation:
Leverage your negotiation skills to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms with carriers.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with Operations and Logistics teams to ensure seamless client service.
Key Attributes
Industry Experience:
Proven success in logistics, 3PL, or transportation sales
Education & Skills:
Post-secondary education in a relevant field or comparable industry experience.
Relationship Builder:
Strong ability to develop and maintain long-term client relationships.
Motivation & Drive:
Competitive, goal-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a high-performance environment.
Technical Proficiency:
Skilled in Microsoft Excel with working knowledge of Outlook, Word, and CRM systems; able to leverage technology for reporting, tracking, and client management.
