Job description

Job Purpose:

Examine, troubleshoot and diagnose units needing repairs and maintenance. Install, repair and maintain interior and exterior components on travel trailers, fifth wheel trailers, park model etc.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Performing pre-delivery inspections.

Installation of accessories; troubleshooting; reading and writing repair orders.

Repair and maintenance on propane gas and electric appliances such as furnaces, refrigerators, water heaters, air conditioners, body and structural components; and the ability to install, repair, replace and maintain roofs, siding, windows, doors, vents, awnings, floor coverings, cabinets, counters, plumbing systems, electrical systems, propane gas systems, batteries and charging systems.

Install trailer and fifth wheel hitches, wire tow vehicles and perform maintenance and repairs on trailer frames, undercarriage and suspension.

Use testing equipment, troubleshooting techniques, manufacturers' specifications, and Internet websites to assist in locating faults and performing repairs.

Communicate with supervisor to ensure timely, efficient and economical repairs.

Follow all company policies and procedures including Health and Safety rules and participate in all company and off-site training as required.

Communicate with customers

Perform any other duties as assigned.

May be required to move or assist moving units

Source parts from various vendors and online platforms

Showing trailers to customers

Qualifications & Relevant Experience:

We're looking for a team player that is motivated, well rounded, knowledgeable, and experienced in a variety of skill sets.

3 - 10 years experience in RV repair field (preferred)

Mechanical, electrical and electronics aptitude; troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.

Strong communication, organizational and learning skills.

The ability to work independently and as a team member.

Problem Solver

Knowledge and understanding of RV technical knowledge is an asset.

Able to lift up to 50lbs

License:

Full G Driving License with clean driving record (Required)

RV1/RV2 (Preferred)

- Red Seal Certifications (Preferred)

Off site repairs with customers possibility

Start Date:

As soon as possible

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 50 per week
