About The Role
We're looking for a
Senior Research Scientist
to join our growing consultancy. In this role, you'll lead research tasks and projects, guide junior team members, and engage directly with clients. This role combines project leadership, client engagement, and applied expertise to support RainCity Analytics' mission to improve healthcare decision-making through exceptional science.
What you'll do:
Lead project workstreams and present updates, scope, and methods to clients.
Conduct
targeted
and
systematic literature reviews
and synthesize findings into clear, evidence-based insights.
Apply a blend of
qualitative and quantitative methods
across the HEOR lifecycle.
Propose novel solutions to solve complex methodological problems.
Mentor junior researchers and help shape their professional growth.
Work
independently
to deliver high-quality reports, presentations, and submissions.
What you bring:
Master's degree or higher in health economics, epidemiology, public health, pharmacy, life sciences, or a related field.
At least
5 years of experience
in HEOR consulting or industry environment.
Strong understanding of the
HEOR lifecycle
, from design through to dissemination.
Broad methodological expertise, including literature review experience.
Excellent writing and presentation skills and demonstrated
client-facing skills.
Proven leadership within project teams.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.
Nice to have:
Applied experience in health economic modeling or evaluations.
Experience supporting or developing regulatory or reimbursement submissions.
Familiarity with relevant statistical programming software (e.g., R).
