What you will do:Provide excellent service while ensuring exceptional results in the collection of financial loans.
Contact past due customers through the appropriate channeling methods, request and negotiate payment arrangements within authorized limits, and send correspondence to collection customers.
Use company specific policies and procedures to maintain and coordinate firm payment recovery.
Assess and mitigate risk by referring accounts for further action.
Document all call activity details in the Collections system to reflect any action taken, e.g., commitments to pay and/or amounts and dates agreed upon.
Achieve individual collection targets to meet Department and Company-wide goals.
Complete other collection responsibilities, as assigned.
Must haves!You are tech savvy and know your way through Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
You are experienced with skip tracing and familiar with using 411, social media, and the ability to understand credit bureaus
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounts in our Quebec Auto Collections portfolio, where the majority of customers communicate primarily in French. Bilingualism is essential to effectively engage with clients, understand and respond to customer needs, and ensure compliance with provincial language laws and regulatory requirements
The role will involve using English approximately 40% of the time, primarily for internal communication, documentation, reporting, and coordination with other departments across Canada.
The candidate must possess an advanced level of English proficiency, including the ability to communicate professionally in writing and verbally with internal teams, understand and contribute to English documentation and reports, participate in English-language meetings and training sessions
Extra- awesome to have!At least 1+ years of prior experience in at least one of the following core areas: call centre, customer service, collections and/or consumer loan industry
Post-secondary education in Business Administration
Working conditionYou have flexible availability to work. Working hours can range anywhere between 9 AM to 9 PM EST Monday to Friday (rotating shifts : 8:30am-5:00pm, 9:30am-6:00pm, 12:30-9:00pm)
You are available to work alternating Saturday shift (2 Saturdays a month)
Schedules are completed a month in advance and shifts are rotating
