This role is based out of Sparwood BC and requires relocation.Reporting to the Lead Recruitment, the Senior Recruiter is responsible for working with our Coal Central Recruiting and Human Resources teams to support hiring initiatives.To be successful in this role we are looking for someone with outstanding problem solving, interpersonal, and communication skills, who is comfortable with public speaking. Someone who is organized, has exceptional attention to detail, and can work with integrity to professionally manage confidential material. • Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
• Utilize the full recruitment lifecycle with a high degree of precision to ensure the highest quality of candidates are placed
• Build and maintain highly credible and influential working relationships with Hiring Managers and Human Resources
• Facilitate advanced recruitment initiatives on senior, business critical, time sensitive and high-risk positions
• Provide coaching and mentoring to junior recruiters while driving recruitment best practices
• Assist with high level sourcing strategies, including Search Engine Marketing, print, online, social media, coordination of career fairs, and industry events
• Travel to various locations and for extended periods as required
• Ensure recruitment activities are carried out in compliance with Canadian law

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in a Business or related program preferred
• Minimum of seven years industrial experience is an asset
• Strong digital literacy and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite\xc2\xae
• Comfortability public speaking in front of large audiences
• Ability to operate with very high levels of integrity and confidentiality
