Reporting to the Director SimCorp, Risk &TFM Technology, the Senior Quality Engineer will provide quality and automated testing strategies for products and platforms on AWS. You will be responsible for building quality strategy and standards across the team by defining and implementing detailed, comprehensive automated test strategy and leading the day-to-day testing.

The ideal candidate will effectively collaborate with a group of Quality and Engineering professionals and be expected to have in-dept knowledge of current industry-wide testing techniques and test automation tools. Improving quality standards by developing and implementing quality assurance processes, conducting audits, and working closely with other departments to ensure that quality is maintained throughout the product lifecycle.

Major Accountabilities:

• Develop and execute test strategies, plans, cases and scripts with a focus on optimized coverage across work streams.
• Plan, build and implement resilient systems/products which follows the chaos engineering and fault injection practices.

• Maximize test automation coverage by bringing in \xe2\x80\x9cautomation first\xe2\x80\x9d mindset and look for opportunities to shift-left testing in the delivery process.
• Design test architectures (Test automation frameworks, code libraries etc.), automation standards and procedures, for the team to use across various platforms.

• Identify and select industry best practices, to support continuous process improvements and efficiencies in the overall QE processes and implement test metrics culture to demonstrate continuous improvements.

• Monitor the effectiveness of the Test automation and bring about improvements through insights gained via analysis at various stages of test automation to ensure stability, efficiency, and scalability

• Work collaboratively with cross functional teams and infuse quality in every phase of SDLC
• Develop and maintain product quality metrics and KPI\'s to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferred.
• Experience in designing, building, and delivering cloud-based solutions on AWS preferred.
• 5+ years of Quality Engineering experience and leading QE initiatives
• Experience with QA processes and methodologies required, automated and manual test processes, test planning, test cases design, scripting, execution, automated test tools, regression testing
• Hands on experience ETL, data quality/completeness validation
• Proficiency in Python with experience in development and maintenance of Test Automation Frameworks / Test Harness
• Hands on experience working with UI automation tools like Selenium, UFT, and API test automation tools like Postman, SoapUI etc.
• Hand-on experience with test management tools like Zephyr, qTest, TestRail, etc.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline implementation
• Knowledge of AWS/Azure and experience in DevOps tools like Codebase, Kubernetes, Jenkins are a nice to have.
• Ability to build strong relationships, influence and communicate effectively with a diverse set of stakeholders, operational teams, and technical engineers.
• Collaborative team player with a willingness to \xe2\x80\x9cget it done together\xe2\x80\x9d sharing practices and ideas across functions.
