Posting Description: Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Analyst 6 months fixed term contract with a possibility of conversion

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Toronto office

What the day will look like

• Create and execute comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases for the PathWise software system.
• Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on features and bug fixes implemented by the Software Development team for quarterly releases of PathWise.
• Perform testing and benchmarking of client models on new PathWise software releases.
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open-source tools in python.
• Identify, record, document and track bugs.
• Perform thorough regression testing on bugs and features.
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

• 5+ years of experience in a software application quality assurance role
• Bachelors degree in computer science or engineering
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, testing frameworks, tools and processes
• Hands-on experience with white box, black box, stress, functional and regression testing
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as python is a plus
• Experience with benchmarking, performance and/or security testing is a plus
