Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end QA activities including test planning, test case design, execution, and defect management. Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage. Develop and maintain detailed test documentation including test cases, test scripts, and test reports. Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Oversee and improve automation test frameworks (if applicable--Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.). Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, REST Assured, or similar. Identify, document, and track defects; work closely with developers for resolution. Ensure adherence to QA best practices, processes, and standards. Participate in release readiness reviews and risk assessments. Mentor and guide junior QA analysts and contribute to continuous process improvement. Work in Agile/Scrum environments and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience. 4+ years of hands-on QA experience, with at least 1-2 years in a senior or lead capacity. Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and STLC. Proficiency in writing and maintaining test cases, test plans, and test documentation. Experience with defect tracking tools such as

, Azure DevOps, Rally, or similar. Hands-on experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.) -- if applicable. Solid experience with API testing and tools like
