Our downtown Vancouver real estate client is seeking a Senior Property Accounting Manager to join the team on a permanent basis.
Salary ranging from $120,000 to $130,000 + Bonus
Reporting to the Director, your responsibilities include:

Leading a team of commercial property accountants, collaborating closely with finance, leasing, and asset management teams.
Conducting monthly reviews of property financials and managing end-to-end accounting processes for assigned properties.
Analyzing financial outcomes to provide senior management with insights on property performance, cash flow needs, and budgetary updates.
Coordinating audit activities and working closely with auditors to ensure a smooth audit process.
Preparing annual property-level cash forecasts, including recommendations for quarterly distributions and funding requirements.
Tracking and adjusting monthly working capital at the property level to keep cash forecasts accurate and up-to-date.
Managing the preparation and distribution of property budgets and quarterly forecasts in collaboration with the wider team
Sending out annual CAM/Tax statements to tenants and completing the necessary annual reconciliations.

Successful Candidate:

Designated CPA
7+ years progressive accounting experience within the commercial property management sector
3-5+ years of supervisory experience
Systems experience with Yardi will be highly regarded
Excellent oral and written communication skills
