SENIOR PROPERTY ACCOUNTANT
OBJECTIVE:
The Senior Property Accountant is responsible for the overall accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of real estate properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as experience with property management software.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements and reports, including the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement
- Reconcile bank accounts and accounts payable and receivable
- Manage the property tax and insurance escrow accounts
- Prepare budgets and forecasts
- Analyze financial data and identify trends
- Advise management on financial matters
Qualifications:
- Bachelor\'s degree in accounting or a related field
- CPA certification preferred
- 5+ years of experience in property accounting
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other property management software
