SUMMARY



As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead and oversee complex telecommunications construction projects from planning through to successful delivery. Your role is to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope and budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction. You will provide strategic leadership to your project teams, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and play a key role in achieving the company's growth objectives. This role requires a results-driven leader with proven expertise in telecom infrastructure projects, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to foster strong relationships with clients, partners, and employees.

DESCRIPTION



Key Responsibilities



Project Leadership & Management



Plan, organize, and manage all phases of the construction projects. Monitor budgets, timelines, and quality to ensure project profitability and alignment with client expectations. Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Business Development & Client Relations



Contribute to business development efforts through prospecting, preparing proposals, and supporting sales initiatives. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and community stakeholders. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing innovative and cost-effective project solutions.

Team Leadership & Development



Lead, motivate, and coach project teams to achieve operational and strategic goals. Conduct regular performance assessments, support career development planning, and ensure succession readiness. Oversee onboarding and integration of new team members, ensuring alignment with company standards and values. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Operational Excellence



Implement and monitor project management tools to improve efficiency and reporting. Track performance metrics and prepare progress reports for management and stakeholders. Authorize team hours, review expenses, and ensure proper cost allocations. Oversee disciplinary measures and enforce compliance with company policies when required.

PROFILE



Education & Experience



University degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, OR an equivalent combination of training and relevant experience. Minimum of 5-10 years of proven experience managing large-scale telecommunications construction projects.

Technical Skills



Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of project management software is an asset.

Other Requirements



Fluency in English Valid driver's license required. Willingness to travel as needed. Experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
