Your Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Project Manager, Business Experience to join our team. This role requires managing projects and/or programs for business process improvement and system initiatives through the entire project lifecycle in accordance with our Solution Delivery and PMO Frameworks.

Your Key Responsibilities

Managing one or more projects of various sizes.

Creating and maintaining appropriate project management documentation and administering project collaboration sites.

Developing and managing project plans in collaboration with the Functional and Technical Leads and ensuring the project is appropriately resourced.

Identifying, tracking, and managing project issues to resolution.

Monitoring and tracking project risks and appropriately mitigating and/or developing contingency plans.

Leading project team meetings to review status, priorities, roadblocks, etc.

Tracking progress, updating status and relevant dates, and reporting to project stakeholders.

Working with the Business Change Management Lead to ensure successful business deployment, rollout, and support of the solution.

Adhering to IT policies in support of ISO and SOX compliancy.

Providing oversight to Project Managers to maintain alignment of project objectives, priorities, and dependencies within the program.

Updating stakeholders on status of initiatives across the program.

Overseeing the program\'s change management strategies/plans.

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

Essential requirements:

University bachelor\'s degree.

Several years\' experience managing projects and programs involving ERP system implementations/enhancements/upgrades, business process management, packaged or cloud implementations, business intelligence, and custom solutions.

Strong working knowledge of MS Project.

Exceptional organizational skills: this position requires the ability to manage more than one project assignment at any one time and to sufficiently plan out different types of projects with varying degrees of known information so that teams can get organized, and work can commence as soon as possible.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; this position requires a high degree of involvement leading meetings and regularly communicating to project and business stakeholders.

Excellent interpersonal skills: this position requires a high degree of interaction with varied individuals from Stantec\'s Functional Services Teams and the business.

Agile project management experience.

Valuable but not essential requirements:

Project management certification (PMP)

Agile project management certification

Oracle e-Business Suite experience

Large public company experience
