We are looking for a Project Manager, Applications Development. This role requires someone on site 5 days a week, ideally with 3-4 days in Windsor and 1 day in Mississauga.Our client is seeking a seasoned Project Manager with a strong background in applications development and Agile methodology. This role is designed as a contract interim position with the opportunity to evolve into a full-time role. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with proven project management skills to drive the successful
planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects. As a hands-on leader, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet both business objectives and technical standards.Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with key

stakeholders.

• Develop detailed project plans outlining timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Oversee project execution to ensure milestones are met and projects are delivered on

time and within budget.Stakeholder Management:

• Collaborate with software developers, QA teams, and other departments to align project

objectives.

• Lead regular project meetings to track progress, identify issues, and implement

solutions.

• Serve as the primary point of contact between technical teams and business

stakeholders.

• Champion the adoption and execution of Agile best practices to enhance project

delivery and team collaboration.

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts to ensure adherence to service level

agreements (SLAs) and project requirements.

• Monitor project performance metrics and application quality to ensure optimal

performance, scalability, and security.

• Implement proactive measures for issue resolution, ensuring projects meet regulatory

and industry standards.

• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and processes to improve efficiency

and performance.

• Mentor team members and promote a culture of continuous improvement and

innovation.Requirements
xefx82xb7 Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or
equivalent experience.
xefx82xb7 Significant experience in software development with a proven track record in project
management.
xefx82xb7 Demonstrated expertise in Agile methodology and its practical application in software
projects.
xefx82xb7 Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
xefx82xb7 Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and
deliver effective solutions.
xefx82xb7 Prior experience in managing application development projects from conception to
deployment.
xefx82xb7 Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ScrumMaster) are a plus.
xefx82xb7 Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects
simultaneously.
