They provide strategic and financial indices and are caretakers for the project intake and close-out processes.Corporate real estate projects range from building maintenance and repair projects to tenant fit-up projects, encompassing a wide variety of activities aimed at maintaining and improving the physical infrastructure and spaces used by the organization. Client project portfolio's range from $50.0MM to $250.0MMThe Senior Project Controls Officer documents standardized methods, procedures and best practices, continuously improves upon tools and processes, provides and/or coordinates ongoing training required by the business for project managers, project administrators/coordinators, new staff, and establishes regular communication / project reporting protocols with project managers and client directors.The Senior Project Controls Officer, thru the use of data analytics, drives quality within a program by establishing clear quality goals, develop standardized quality processes, provide training and support, and continuously monitor and improve project teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESEstablish Clear Quality Goals and Objectives:Define Quality Standards: Using our Management Practice Playbook as a guide, the SPCO will collaborate with PDS leadership to define what constitutes "quality" for each of our client portfolios and its respective projects, including specific metrics and deliverables.Set Measurable Objectives: Translate quality goals into measurable objectives that can be tracked and evaluated throughout each program's lifecycle.Align with Organizational Strategy: Ensure that the program's quality objectives are aligned with PDS's overall organizational strategy and goals.Develop Standardized Quality Processes:Create Quality Management Plan: Develop a comprehensive quality management plan that outlines the processes, procedures, and tools that will be used to ensure quality.Implement Quality Assurance and Control: Establish robust quality assurance and quality control processes to identify and address potential issues early on.Standardize Quality Tools and Techniques: Provide project teams with standardized tools, templates, and methodologies for managing quality.Provide Training and Support:Train Project Teams: Ensure that project teams are adequately trained in the quality management processes, tools, and techniques by becoming a SME in PMWeb.Offer Mentorship and Guidance: Provide mentorship and guidance to project managers and teams to help them understand and apply quality standards.Facilitate Knowledge Sharing: Encourage cross-account knowledge sharing and collaboration among project teams to improve quality practices.Continuously Monitor and Improve:Track Quality Metrics: Regularly monitor key quality metrics to track progress towards quality objectives.Conduct Quality Audits: Regularly conduct quality audits to assess the effectiveness of quality processes and identify areas for improvement.Implement Continuous Improvement: Use data and feedback to continuously improve quality processes and practices.PCO Roles and Responsibilities:Data Integrity and Accuracy: Ensuring the reliability and traceability of controls data is essential for analysis and reporting.
