ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Senior Program Manager will partner with Retail Operations Teams and other different FSC Departments within Canada and the US to ensure the Retail Initiatives and Strategies are successfully completed. The primary objective is to drive transparency and accountability and to provide tracking and reporting on active Retail Operations projects that directly influence the Retail Focus on Client Experience.

The Senior Program Manager will excel in establishing effective working relationships with business partners, has a strong passion for curiosity, innovation, and constructive thought, and can influence different levels of an organization.

WHAT YOU\'LL DO:

Real Estate - 25%

Accurately grasp the real estate strategy for Canada, encompassing new store roadmaps, formats, and remodel plans.

Collaborate with North American Real Estate and Store Transformation Teams, bridging Canadian strategies and partners with overarching objectives and roadmaps.

Track, monitor, and review capital expenses in partnership with Canadian business counterparts (merchandising, store design, and finance).

Lead Canadian teams in developing New Store Maps, Future Footprint Enhancements, and Urban Concept Launch.

Represent Canada in North American Future Footprint and Urban Concept Strategies, disseminating updates, standard methodologies, and requirements to Canadian partners.

Consolidate all Canadian store design and capital initiatives, spanning loss prevention, services, client experiences, and marketing, ensuring compliance, efficiency with North American teams, and accountability for results.

Program Management - 50%

Lead prioritized programs from business partner intake to execution, ensuring alignment with established strategies.

Identify and improve instructional design needs, optimizing leverage.

Establish workload implications, measure critical metrics, address localized process differences, and apply hindsight through cross-functional collaboration.

Program examples include MSL, Foundational Learning, Paid Services, Client Experience, and MPOS.

Project Management - 25%

Consult with Retail Operations team members to improve project initiation, execution, and strategic implementation, using subject matter expertise.

Develop and implement high-complexity projects, establishing charters, objectives, scope, and governance, while effectively managing changes to requirements, competing priorities, and budgetary and timeline impacts.

Ensure comprehensive documentation of each project step, including detailed risk assessments.

Proactively identify and communicate project risks, proposing mitigation plans to key collaborators throughout the project.

Mobilize cross-functional partners, holding them accountable for project deliverables, providing timely updates, and optimizing collaboration.

Advocate for innovative methods and standard processes in project execution.

Oversee and communicate critical project documentation to key partners, including requirements, schedules, budgets, status reports, achievements, risks, and post-mortem reviews.

Perform post-implementation review to ensure project benefits are realized; measure Retail KPIs to ensure tactical and strategic transformation has occurred.

WHAT YOU\'LL BRING:

7+ years of experience leading projects.

Advanced knowledge of project management, including project lifecycle, cost/benefit analysis, change, issue, and risk management, and the ability to gather, analyze, and report project metrics.

Strong understanding and application of Lean and/or Agile methodologies.

Proficiency in MS Suites, particularly MS Project.

Proven track record in handling the full project lifecycle for multiple concurrent projects of varying scale and complexity.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all organizational levels!

Success in a fast-paced and multifaceted work environment, with a proactive approach and a willingness to challenge the status quo.

Experience aligning a diverse range of team members on strategic goals.

High initiative, sense of urgency, and ability to manage conflicts while ensuring timely deliverables.

Strong business intuition, agility, and quick adaptability to unfamiliar subject matter areas.

Meticulous with analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in complex or ambiguous situations.

Outstanding organizational skills, capable of leading multiple large cross-functional projects with significant influence.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
