Responsibilities:
  • Shape the product roadmap and work with the UX/UI, Product Experience, Customer Solutions, Onboarding, Sales and Engineering teams to ideate, collaborate and innovate new software features
  • Assess product opportunities by formulating the right business questions and tracking down data that can inform a decision
  • Connect project-level outcomes to key metrics that drive your product area, and that create meaningful outcomes for the business
  • Make decisions that align with product strategy as well as business goals, while maximizing value for users
  • Prepare complex requirement documents, taking into consideration interrelated functionality and dependencies, determining the appropriate order of priority, and collaborating with the Engineering team to obtain the estimation for the level of effort required
  • Use low-fidelity tools, use cases, process diagrams, and user behaviour analysis to outline a design approach for a project, and work with the UX/UI Designers to translate that into a higher-fidelity representation of the feature
  • Understand technical and design trade-offs and collaborate with UX/UI Designers and Engineers to find creative solutions that strike the right balance between speed and quality
  • Create and maintain product plans, backlogs and supporting documents that enable mixed teams to deliver work against the plan
  • Assess the quality of delivery of your product components and effectively raise potential challenges to the Executive level if it does not meet the bar for release
  • Communicate effectively with your team and cross-functionally with all stakeholders to inform, build buy-in, and obtain support throughout your project lifecycle
  • Demonstrate strong empathy for users of the product, and leverage feedback from multiple sources to prioritize decisions
  • Seek opportunities to provide support and advice to more junior members of the team, helping them to more effectively deliver on project goals
  • Participate in Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning and design review meetings
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager within B2B/SaaS, preferably in Business Management tools/software and/or Health & Wellness industry
  • 3+ years of direct experience working with established UX/UI design processes
  • Post-secondary Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
  • Proven expertise working within a Scrum team and Agile development framework
  • Strong analytic background in a product capacity
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing and conflicting priorities
  • Solid understanding of responsive design, web standards, UX/UI best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
