As ATB's next Senior Product Manager, you are a visionary with an exceptional ability to lead a team and execute while listening to our customers and end users. You pay close attention to jobs that need to be done and problems to be solved, ensuring balance between end user needs and enterprise objectives. You understand people, process, technology and innovation, as well as the fine thread that binds all these together, to deliver profitable customer obsession.

This unique role will provide the opportunity to use new and exciting technologies, leverage data driven insights such as AI / Machine learning, and explore the art of the possible through the design and execution of Proof of Concept work. As a part of a dynamic agile delivery team including engineers, data scientists, product managers and business experts, you will have an opportunity to co-create innovative solutions from scratch, solve exciting challenges for clients and test product market fit. This role requires an experienced candidate who has a growth mindset, is comfortable with some ambiguity, and thrives on exploring new and emerging solutions that will provide future value to both our clients and the organization at large.

Requirements

  • Accountable for delivery of client & business outcomes through discovery, design, development for a specific product or group of products through entire lifecycle
  • Tests and delivers feasible, viable and desirable client experiences for product and/or product line by leveraging data insights, partners, and stakeholders
  • Facilitates, coordinates, and leads the direction for current and future product development, under the expert guidance and partnership with the Product Lead and technical delivery team
  • Support backlog refinement, story sizing, and sprint planning / retros with the teams to ensure the right product milestones are prioritized at the right time through your product-focused input
  • Facilitate collaboration between technologists and product leads to understand and translate requirements, ensuring specifications and architecture design meet broader strategic goals
  • Gather requirements and ensure epics and user stories are well defined and prioritized with our Scrum teams
  • Understand, document, and lead the squad's trade-off decisions, minimizing risks associated with technical debt, market readiness, and business development teams
  • Live and breathe agile practices through continuous improvement and consistency of agile ceremonies, working closely with the scrum master
  • Champion the voice of the customer as the key owner of your portfolio's feature-suite and its priorities
  • Partner with the product lead to communicate progress and release plans, impediments, and key product metrics
  • Experienced at effective stakeholder management across all levels of the organization
  • Acts as a thought leader to senior leadership advising how best to deliver on strategic objectives through product design and development
  • Drives a culture of innovation and executional certainty

  • Critical thinking and problem solving form part of your DNA
  • You are resourceful and operate well in ambiguous environments
  • You have 5+ years of product ownership or product management experience
  • In-depth, experiential knowledge of Agile process and principles, certification considered an asset
  • You know how to manage changing requirements of a product and can lead to prioritize bugs, technical debt and new features within a Backlog
  • You have excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, and can translate between product and technical teams
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, reflected in the ability to story-size with delivery teams and manage milestone delivery dates
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Creative thinker with a vision for emerging technologies and their architectures / applications
