Overview
We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for senior policy advisors to develop policy and regulation, provide advice to WorkSafeBC\xe2\x80\x99s Board of Directors and executives, and perform duties related to our statutory and legal responsibilities under the Workers Compensation Act and the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation. You\xe2\x80\x99ll be an integral part of our Policy, Regulation and Research Division whose work assists with promoting workplace health and safety and providing support and rehabilitation to those who are injured at work.
In this role, you\xe2\x80\x99ll provide analysis, advice, and leadership to managers and staff to ensure effective implementation of WorkSafeBC\xe2\x80\x99s strategies, policies, regulations, practices, and services.
You\xe2\x80\x99ll take on projects and work with subject matter experts to research, develop, and recommend policy and regulatory language to the Board of Directors to address complex issues.
Focus areas of expertise will include: Prevention/Regulation Review, Assessments, Rehabilitation, Compensation, Strategic Initiatives and Occupational Disease.

At WorkSafeBC, we offer a hybrid work model that combines the convenience of working remotely with the dynamism of working in one of our offices, based on the operational needs of the position.
In this role, you\xe2\x80\x99ll work primarily from your B.C. home and occasionally in our Richmond office.
