Overview

Are you passionate about People & Culture (HR) programs, organizational policies, and workplace ethics? Do you want to support a positive employee experience? We are looking for a Senior People & Culture Specialist - Program Development & Integration professional to partner with stakeholders to plan, develop, coordinate, and implement departmental and enterprise-wide People & Culture programs that support employee effectiveness and promote organizational culture and goals.

In this role, you\xe2\x80\x99ll build and maintain excellent relationships at all levels of the organization, partnering closely with the People & Culture team, Communication and Marketing, Business Advisory Services, and other key stakeholders to effectively integrate People and Culture programs throughout the organization.

You\xe2\x80\x99ll utilize your change management, project management, consultation, facilitation, and program design and evaluation skills to initiate, maintain, and administer new and existing programs including ethics, policy development, performance management, new employee onboarding/orientation.

At WorkSafeBC, we offer a hybrid work model that combines the convenience of working remotely with the dynamism of working in one of our offices, based on the operational needs of the position.

In this role, you\xe2\x80\x99ll work primarily from your B.C. home and occasionally in our Richmond office.

What you\'ll do

  • Participate in the planning, development, execution, and delivery of complex People & Culture projects that support employees through the full employee lifecycle
  • Develop and maintain People & Culture policies, procedures, guidelines, programs, processes, and systems
  • Conduct research and prepare strategic analysis and detailed written reports to present information and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders
  • Maintain the corporate ethics program, including analyzing and responding to conflict of interest disclosures, and developing training and other job aids and resources to support our ethical and respectful workplace
  • Develop and facilitate presentations and discussions with various stakeholder groups

  • Effectively balance competing and changing priorities while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Write for impact and effectively disseminate information to various audiences with an equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) lens
  • Facilitate presentations and discussions with various stakeholder groups
Your background and experience
  • A degree in human resources or related discipline; CPHR an asset
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources, including a minimum of 3 years of experience within program and policy development
