What You'll Be Doing

Lead full-cycle recruitment and workforce planning to build strong, diverse teams
Support employees from day one by coordinating smooth onboarding, and ensure thoughtful offboarding experiences
Manage and maintain employee data in the HRIS (ADP WorkforceNow) with accuracy and attention to detail
Act as the go-to for employee questions, requests, and policy guidance while identifying trends and planning proactive training
Partner with managers on performance management and talent development initiatives
Guide and advise leaders and employees on ESA regulations, Fresh Prep handbook policies, and employment practices to mitigate risk
Build and maintain positive relationships with People & Culture vendors while troubleshooting system errors independently
Handle sensitive employee relations matters, including grievances and terminations, with tact and professionalism
Oversee occupational health and safety cases, return-to-work programs, and compliance documentation
Lead engaging orientations for production staff and continually enhance onboarding processes and materials
Partner with the team members to support company events and team experiences
Strive for continuous improvement and leverage technologies to ensure efficient workflow and create opportunities for P&C to add value
What We Are Looking For

We're looking for a trusted People & Culture professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You bring a balance of HR expertise and approachable communication, with the ability to navigate sensitive matters while building strong, positive relationships. If you're passionate about supporting people, strengthening workplace culture, and growing your career in HR, this role is for you.A People & Culture professional with a minimum of 5-7 years of progressive Human Resources experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a Generalist role, working across different provinces and business functions
Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
Proven expertise across multiple HR pillars including recruitment, administration, compliance, employee relations, health & safety, performance management, and learning
Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment law, and best practices for handling complex employee relations and investigations
Strong organizational and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands
A natural relationship-builder and communicator who thrives in cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders at all levels
A flexible, adaptable problem solver who proactively identifies improvements and contributes innovative ideas
A team-first mindset with a genuine passion for supporting people and helping organizations thrive

What You Can Expect
A base salary of $85,000 to $90,000, to be determined based on demonstrated skills and experience
