Leader Name: Sr Manager, P&C Consulting

As ATB\'s next Sr P&C Consultant within our People, Culture, Brand & Communications department, you will proactively support the activation of leadership practices through coaching, facilitation & HR consultation. You will engage with all levels of leadership to identify needs, resolve issues and move people practices forward.

This includes:

  • Identifying and Meeting Client Needs - Actively listening and asking follow-up questions to determine client needs. Meeting those needs through coaching, consulting or facilitation, and providing insights, education and information.
  • Leading People Program Implementation- This would include new or more complex people programs and projects within the assigned business unit as well as overseeing recurring, straightforward enterprise programs and projects that impact the partner business unit.
  • Relationship Management - Act as primary advisor to leaders within designated client areas, developing a deep knowledge of the leaders, their people & their business. Build an effective partnership with these leaders and work collaboratively to determine the best approach to their people scenarios.
  • Supporting local, thinking enterprise - Providing direct support to Leaders within a business team, thinking critically to position enterprise frameworks, and structuring to promote consistency of practice. Consider the broader enterprise implication of local decisions when formulating recommended actions.
  • Identifying business requirements -provides feedback to centers of expertise, to ensure continuous improvement and adjustments of programs to positively impact the people\'s experience at ATB.
You are:

An influencer with advisory and communication skills who is able to promote consistency of practice, and employ flexibility in approach to serve local needs.

A data driven and critical thinker who can effectively identify client needs, navigate complex people matters and formulate recommendations for leader consideration & action.

Able to work with multiple deadlines from multiple stakeholders.

Able to cultivate strong, trust-based relationships that help move the business forward in tricky situations.

Able to connect P&C activities to business strategy and goals that translate into value for the business.

A strong communicator and facilitator with experience leading, for example, team effectiveness, group process or learning offerings in virtual and in-person environments

Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree with Human Resources focus, or related discipline, or equivalent education/experience
  • Human Resources designation obtained or in flight (e.g. from CPHRAB, SHRM, HRPA, etc.) considered an asset
  • 7+ years of relevant experience, of which at least three years should be in a larger organizational environment
  • Management consulting experience in a Human Resources related field considered an asset
  • Proven group facilitation skills
  • Project Management and/or Change Management experience considered an asset
  • In-depth knowledge and breadth of experience in employee and labour relations.
  • Solid knowledge of the business as demonstrated by an understanding of ATB\'s business model, operations and strategic goals
