Job Description

We're looking for a full-time Senior Paralegal in the real estate industry.
Our client, based in downtown Edmonton for an in-office role, who is a well-established and recognized organization known for delivering exceptional service and innovative solutions. This is a full-time, in-office role and an excellent opportunity for a skilled paralegal looking to advance their career in real estate law.
The Senior Paralegal will provide high-level legal support across a variety of real estate transactions, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency throughout all processes. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Senior Paralegal Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and manage real estate contracts, agreements, and closing documents
  • Conduct title searches, due diligence, and coordinate with lawyers, lenders, and clients
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Draft and review legal correspondence and support negotiations
  • Maintain accurate records and manage files for real estate transactions
  • Coordinate closings and liaise with external stakeholders to ensure smooth transactions
The successful candidate has:
  • 5+ years of paralegal experience, in real estate law
  • 2+ years of senior experience
  • Strong knowledge of real estate legislation, contract law, and closing procedures
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • Proficiency with legal research tools, AI, and Microsoft Office Suite
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Salary range of $75,000-$85,000, depending on experience
  • Candidates with a higher salary range would be considered
