We are looking for a Senior Outsourcing Artist like you to establish quality consistency of outsourced art, as established by the project art direction. This Senior Outsourcing Artist may also help implement new production methods to improve the performance of the team.

You will report to our Art Line Manager, based in our studio in Los Angeles, California. We are considering on-site and hybrid working options and welcome full-time remote candidates who are within a three-hour time difference to the Pacific Time Zone to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Art Leads to define & scope the workload for OS production
  • Review and provide feedback on external art content (focus on weapons, vehicles, and mechanical objects)
  • Identify trends and find ways to improve production
  • Communicate Art Review feedback to the external team.
  • Create briefs and organize packages for external production
  • Finalise assets by making visual and technical adjustments
  • Participate in relevant art review meetings
  • Create content for seasonal releases on a cyclical basis
Qualifications:
  • Experience managing outsourced and co-dev relationships
  • 3-5 years of 3D experience
  • Expertise in modeling & texturing weapons, vehicles, and mechanical objects
  • Understanding of industry standards, 3D applications, and general workflows with Maya, Zbrush, Substance Painter
  • Experience working with physically based rendering
  • History of working within game engine constraints to achieve visual and technical quality
  • Understand, match, and communicate art styles
  • Being an avid gamer is a plus

US COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location. EA has listed the base salary ranges it in good faith and expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES
  • California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento): \xc2\xba $113,300 - $171,700
  • New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo): \xc2\xba $111,500 - $171,700
  • Jersey City, NJ: \xc2\xba $126,700 - $171,700
  • Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs): \xc2\xba $111,500 - $144,000
  • Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane): \xc2\xba $111,500 - $157,300
Base salary is just one part of the compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby (following 1 year of service), medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonuses and equity.
