Role Description
Network Engineers are responsible for the infrastructure that connects our users to Dropbox services. This network transits traffic for all tenants of Dropbox serving infrastructure, including our in-house multi-exabyte storage system (Magic Pocket), large scale databases, edge POP infrastructure, and all user-facing services.
We're looking for a Cloud Network Engineer to join Dropbox's Infrastructure Engineering organization. In this role, you'll partner closely with SREs, Network Reliability Engineers, and Infrastructure Engineers to design, build, and operate Dropbox's multi-cloud environment across GCP, AWS, and OCI.
You'll take a hands-on role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our global cloud network, while driving improvements in automation, observability, and cost efficiency. This position offers the opportunity to tackle complex, large-scale infrastructure challenges-spanning cloud networking, compute, storage, and service delivery-and to help shape the next generation of Dropbox's cloud architecture.
