Salary: Starting at 75K + Bonus (Based on Experience)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mortgage Associate to assist with new client intake calls and residential mortgage underwriting. Working with our clients in the placement of their mortgage approval and ensuring documentation fulfilment on files within their allocated timelines. We are looking for someone that is highly motivated and has a good working knowledge of lenders in the mortgage broker channel.

This position will be full-time Monday to Friday, 3 weeks paid holiday, and health spending account.

The successful candidate will work primarily from home and have access to our virtual office via VoIP phones and online client management systems to complete the tasks required. Will be required to come into the office for some training or team meetings periodically during schedule work time.

Require applicant to be in the Edmonton area and have a valid Mortgage Associate License*

Main Responsibilities:

Primary:

Helping with New Client calls/Mortgage Quotes/Onboarding Primarily underwriting/submitting mortgage approvals and at times pre-approvals when needed. Application follow up and detail verification Documentation management and fulfillment of mortgage documents on client files Communication with clients, lenders, and referral sources Underwriting and closing 10+ client files monthly and meeting clients timelines in an efficient manner Other duties as assigned
Key Qualities Preferred:

3yr + industry experience as a Mortgage Associate or Underwriter for a mortgage company- Mandatory Valid Mortgage Associate license Excellent verbal and written skills Strong typing and computer skills Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast paced environment Able to maintain accuracy with strong attention to detail Ability to work independently Ability to work well amongst a team
