Title : Senior Middleware Specialist - (2-3 Days Onsite/Hybrid) Location: Toronto, ON , Canada Duration : Contract
Skill set requirements:
Azure/Cloud Technologies:: Experience with Compute, Storage, Networking, Monitoring, Security, Backup & Restore, High Availability (HA) & Disaster Recovery (DR). You also have knowledge and demonstrated experience in Azure Monitor using App Insights, Log Analytics, Network Watcher, and Alerts
Infrastructure Automation: Experience with Terraform, Ansible and Azure DevOps tool with Git Repo
Hands-on 8+ experience in Azure Cloud to build and test production and non-production environments through CI/CD pipeline.
Knowledge of server administration, security performance tuning, monitoring, testing, implementation, and documentation
In-depth knowledge of n-tier web-based applications, database technologies, software, tools, and languages such as:
IBM HTTP Server
IBM WebSphere
IBM CURAM (1-2 years of experience with IBM CURAM installation and configuration)
Apache Server
Bash and Shell Scripts, Terraform, Spring App Microservices, Azure API Gateway
Oracle 12c
Linux and Solaris operating systems
Windows operation system
Working knowledge of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), application deployment, testing, and release management processes to contribute to the development, delivery, and ongoing support of applications
Ability to manage and track all incident and service requests and coordinate with other support teams using Microsoft DevOps tool
Working experience with Azure cloud migration and technology upgrade projects
Working knowledge of building development and test and production environments based on government I&IT standards
Working knowledge of system integration components (IAA and IAM)
Working knowledge of information architecture, solutions design, network, Internet technology, and emerging technologies to support n-tier web-based applications
Demonstrated experienced with incident, service request, change request, deployment, and release management
Working knowledge of incident and problem management processes (ITIL)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams
Demonstrated ability to work with functional and technical teams
Demonstrated ability to participate in a large team and work closely with other individual team members
Strong ability to work under pressure, work with aggressive timelines, and be adaptive to change
Demonstrated ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions
Experience working in the public sector would be an asset
Knowledge of government I&IT directives and standards
