The Role:
The Senior Media Executive has the main day-to-day responsibility for assigned Hayu and BodyArmor campaigns and is expected to have a client ready grasp on the state of projects at any given time.
Job responsibilities include the ownership of plan and budget data as it relates to assigned campaigns, the management of plan changes, and general maintenance of media activity and its effect on all related outputs, including communication to implementation teams.
You will be responsible for planning, negotiating, buying and maintaining media schedules, ensuring that final buys deliver on the approved plan objective and strategy. The Senior Media Executive will also provide recommendations on how competitive activities can be exploited to our clients\' advantage.
The Senior Media Executive is also expected to be an expert resource in all operational components of media planning, including formatting, standard research analysis, planning process and accuracy vetting.
Duties and Responsibilities:
\xc2\xb7 Work closely with Manager/Director to prepare media plans inclusive of: target audience and geography analysis, budget allocation, scheduling, support levels, developing and reviewing RFPs, partner selection and reporting
\xc2\xb7 Prepare vertical teams for client reviews of plans and recommendations
\xc2\xb7 Analyze media alternatives to recommend how to best allocate the advertising budget
\xc2\xb7 Understand and deploy insights delivered by analytical work
\xc2\xb7 Responsible for analysis and related reports pertaining to KPIs
\xc2\xb7 Manage day to day plan changes/maintenance of media plans
\xc2\xb7 Facilitate competitive analysis
\xc2\xb7 Develop agency points of view on media opportunities for submission to the clients
\xc2\xb7 Liaise with peer teams to ensure deliverables align with overall plan strategies, timelines are met and programs/results are coordinated and presented holistically to client
\xc2\xb7 Participate in training, productivity and development of Assistant Media Executive(s) and junior Media Planners
\xc2\xb7 Maintain regular contact with clients
\xc2\xb7 Play a key role in the budget and client billing process to ensure accuracy
\xc2\xb7 Effectively use agency tools to aid in plan development
\xc2\xb7 Oversee the resolution of billing discrepancies
\xc2\xb7 Assist Managers/Directors in all phases of account/client management
\xc2\xb7 Create PowerPoint presentations
\xc2\xb7 Develop a deeper understanding of client needs and strategy
\xc2\xb7 Learn to manage and build client relationships
\xc2\xb7 Write and maintain status and contact reports to ensure efficient workflow to meet deadlines
\xc2\xb7 Acts as a positive role model through example
Secondary Responsibilities:
