SUMMARY

As an integral member of MIMOSA the Sr. Marketing Manager will be accountable to deliver many of the commercial activities for the launch and sale of MIMOSA\xe2\x80\x99s products in the U.S. and beyond.
The Marketing manager works closely and cross functionally within the MIMOSA team including sales, customer experience, clinical affairs, regulatory, quality management, and manufacturing to develop and implement our marketing strategy, ultimately leading to commercial success for the company.

Salary Range: $96,000 to $100,600
Location: Hybrid in Greater Toronto Hamilton Area

RESPONSIBILITIES

Brand, Communications & Lead Gen Sr. Marketing manager will be responsible for:
  • Creating and maintaining MIMOSA\xe2\x80\x99s Brand and positioning
  • Developing and implementing MIMOSA\xe2\x80\x99s communication plan
  • Developing sustainable and scalable lead generation plan
Company Brand Development and Communication. All activities that create a high level of awareness and positive impression of MIMOSA within Wound Care clinics, Vascular clinics and other target audiences and stakeholders. Included in this are the maintenance and adherence to our visual identity, brand guidelines, key messages, and company website. It encompasses all external marketing activities (trade shows, seminars, advertising, social media etc.) that influence our target markets in their impression of our company.
Lead Generation. Marketing manager ensures marketing activities that provide the sales team with prospective customer leads. Inbound and outbound marketing including SEO and SEM activity and lead capture, trade shows and seminars, mailings and e-mailings, special offers and promotions, and print and online materials.
Product Launch Team. Product launch includes key messages, events, thought leadership, marketing brochures and collateral, launch mailings, as well as videos and e-tools to support the launch.

Sales Support. Marketing manager assists the sales team in being successful via product training and selling materials.

Customer Experience. This position is responsible to support customer success activities via training and support material development/maintenance. This includes customer onboarding, training and technical support.

Marketing Process, Organization and Infrastructure. The Marketing Manager will look to equip MIMOSA with sustainable and repeatable processes and structure in key marketing areas. This includes building an organization with the skills, experience, and drive to deliver on objectives. It also includes scalable tools for website, customer/mailing database, CRM (Customer Relationship Management, as well as procedures and templates for recurring marketing activities.

Compliance Responsibilities:
Compliance with relevant laws and regulations within areas of responsibility include:
o ISO 13485: 2016 Medical Devices - Quality Management Systems - Requirements for Regulatory Purposes.
o Canada Medical Device Regulations- SOR/98-282 (MDR).
o Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Quality System Regulation (QSR) 21 CFR 820.
o Canada\xe2\x80\x99s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Ontario\xe2\x80\x99s Personal Health Information and Protection Act (PHIPA) and regulations on Personal Information/Health Information Protection in applicable global markets.
o Other applicable international regulations.
o Define and oversee internal policies for business ethics, interactions with healthcare professionals, finance and HR.
Operate in compliance with relevant laws and regulations for the industry, including but not limited to Regulatory/ISO compliance (according to internal SOPs and industry guidance), Business Ethics and Interactions with Healthcare Professionals.
Report any awareness of misconduct by MIMOSA\xe2\x80\x99s , customers or partners.
Work in accordance with MIMOSA\'s policies and procedures e.g. business ethics, interactions with healthcare professionals, finance and HR.

Managerial and Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Manage Marketing budgets and expenses according to agreed plans.

  • Ensure correct usage of business IT tools, media and website tracking

COMPETENCY

Education:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree and/or diploma in related professional qualification, however, relevant professional experience will definitely be considered
  • Business Marketing would be an asset
Experience:
  • Previous experience in medical device B2B marketing.
  • Substantive experience within commercial functions.
  • Relevant product and industry knowledge.
TECHNICAL / FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
  • Sound judgement, good business sense with a solid technical background.
  • Independence and self-reliance.
  • Computer literacy, including effective working skills of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Content creation literacy, including effective working skills of Adobe Creative Suite for both static and video content.
  • Results oriented with demonstrated business skills related to goal setting, budgeting, reporting, and analytical abilities to assess and interpret results.
COMMUNICATION / PRESENTATION SKILLS

  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong, independent work ethic.
  • Positive and enthusiastic.
