Intuit’s QuickBooks Canada team is seeking a Sr. Marketing Manager - Paid Search and App to accelerate our paid search campaigns to generate breakthrough QuickBooks adoption. This is a great opportunity to be at the center of accelerating Intuit's growth. We are looking for an acquisition expert with a passion for innovating, great collaboration skills, test-and-learn mindset, and bias for driving for results.
This position will be hybrid and based in downtown Toronto, Ontario but you will work cross functionally with partners located across many of our global sites, including the US, UK, Australia, India, France, Brazil and more.
The role will lead an exciting initiative, defining and owning the strategy and delivery of a set of high-priority initiatives. This individual will be accountable for driving marketing ROI for all QuickBooks products within the Canadian market. This role has 1 direct report and works very closely with external partners. Search and App operations are carried out in house
This individual will have the ability to build the testing strategy and develop new and innovative paths to conversion, including the use of traditional creative adjustments along with the use of technology by way of programmatic and machine learning implementation.
What you'll bring
Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing/Stats required
Minimum 5+ years of relevant work experience (B2B or finance is a plus) with an extensive background of planning and developing, executing, and analyzing Search and Mobile campaigns
Deep understanding of Paid Search & Mobile marketing channels including Google, YouTube, Microsoft Advertising, Apple Search Ads, UAC and other best-in-class publishers as it relates to the optimization of media spend and conversions. Big Query, GA4, Adobe Analytics and Tableau and plus
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills and present high-quality documents to leadership
Experience in performing SEM analysis and audits to facilitate optimizations and ultimately improve conversions
Collaborates and influences across teams and consistently communicates across levels and teams to achieve results
Proven experience and passion to facilitate relationships (internal and external) to drive business results and be a strong collaborator with a willingness to take risks
Strong teamwork orientation with an ability to work effectively in a constantly changing environment, requiring ongoing re-evaluation of priorities
Comfortable with marketing math; forecasting, CAC, LTV, etc
Technical mindset. Can go deep in the platform
Ability to coordinate with International, and other internal teams
How you will lead
Building SEM strategies, generating insights, measuring, and reporting, and ensuring the channel plays a lead role in supporting the customer journey and optimizes in recognition of all digital marketing channels
Work with your team of SEM managers to optimize KPI’s to maximize ROI of each marketing dollar spent within weekly budget restraints
Understands and is intimately aware of competitive activity in paid search, ensures that SEM campaigns are set-up to deliver competitive advantage
Optimize the end-to-end campaign (including targeting segments, creative, remarketing tactics, etc) on an ongoing basis in real-time with focus on personalization
Deliver detailed and actionable insights and strategic recommendations, provide interpretation, guidance, and recommendations to drive business performance
Produce & manage keyword research, technical, content and SEM audits – analysis and optimization recommendations
Lead day-to-day engagement with agencies/vendors and key internal partners to deliver best-in-class SEM strategies and programs
Develop and test new campaigns to better target users and improve overall marketing efficiencies
Bring new technologies and capabilities to the team to ensure we are the leaders platform adoption
