YOUR ROLE
Reporting to the President of Aldo Group International, the Senior Director will play a pivotal role in driving growth for the Aldo Group International division. He / she will be accountable to drive the brand and help achieve objectives in the regions by collaborating with internal teams, franchise as well as wholesale partners. Leading a team of 10 at the onset, the person will also play a key role driving digital growth and identifying growth channels in both existing and new countries for AGI. The person will be the Marketing lead for the division and will be the main counterpart with the Aldo and CIS brand teams.
The ideal candidate is results oriented, highly analytical, diplomatic, has solid and digital first marketing experience with preferably leading international brands, and has the ability to collaborate closely in cross functional teams. The role also requires strong business acumen, detailed digital and media experience and exceptional communication skills.
Digital First Mindset
Lead the AGI e-commerce and digital marketing team with a focus on growing digital and optimizing media, driving traffic, conversion and sales.
Support assessment, prioritization and conversion of growth opportunities for partnerships with an Omni-channel approach.
For Top 10 markets, collaborate with teams, assess macro conditions and competitive landscape to build brand equity and drive traffic to brand.
Lead Marketing for AGI
Lead the AGI territorial / commercialization marketing team with a holistic 360
Drive all regional marketing projects, campaigns and initiatives for AGI through proper briefs, alignment with brand, partners and agencies.
Define marketing priorities and build seasonal marketing plans for key countries including calendars, initiatives, CRM, loyalty, social and influencer strategies; define media spend allocation
Drive brand in territory and collaborate with internal and external teams to achieve targets
Assess in-season performance and develop initiatives to address performance gaps
Collaborate with Brand teams to create and adapt campaigns taking into account the regional diversity; manage mechanicals
Manage regional hub contents and collaborate with partners to maximize ROI
Ensure marketing execution excellence
Elevate marketing within AGI to forefront of digital capabilities
Collaborate across AGI and with Brand teams to improve processes related to brand and marketing
Drive social media, PR and influencer marketing initiatives in close collaboration with the Social and PR teams.
Help define divisional strategy and support with its implementation
Define priority markets, develop growth plans and / or collaborate with partners to refine as needed
Support regional heads to implement strategy and achieve annual objectives.
Work closely with AGI Executive team on special projects
Support analysis of special projects, transactions, participate in budget process
Lead the preparation of the market week presentations and marketing / communications related work.

Bachelor's degree in Business / Marketing; MBA an asset
Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Marketing with focus on
Previous marketing experience with an international brand or retailer - Franchise and Wholesale experience preferred
Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, strong knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint
Strong work ethic, autonomous, flexible and creative, able to adapt to evolving business needs
Openness to travel as role can require a few trips per year
Motivated self-starter, able to perform under tight deadlines with excellent attention to detail
Strong written and verbal English communication skills, additional languages such as Arabic and Spanish an asset
