Create, modify, and approve check sheets for inspection of facilities equipment, test cell equipment, engine part cleaning equipment, manufacturing machines
Review and approve tooling and technical drawings
Review and approve, if required, calibration certificates
Manage and maintain documentation related to quality management system for equipment
Review and manage tool failure calibration analysis
Provide tooling and procedure equivalencies
Provide support for the millwrights
What you bring to the role
Mechanical, Aeronautical, Materials, Metallurgical or equivalent engineering degree
5-years minimum relevant experience or equivalent
Must be registered with the OIQ and have the ability to sign off on technical drawings
Proven ability to support investigations, prepare technical reports and recommendations
Experience in handling and troubleshooting problems on machinery and repair processes (CNC, grinder, CMM, waterjet, etc.)
Knowledgeable in test cell systems (pressure ssytems, test equipment, etc.)
Knowledge of special processes: water jet, plasma, shot peening, welding, cleaning systems.
Be customer focused and result driven
Strong communication, organizational and problem solving skills
Fluent in French & English.
Additional skills desired for the role
Experience in handling technical aspects of maintenance repairs of aero engines in an engine shop
